How can I maintain a list of responsive contacts?
In order to maintain or improve your list quality, you need to closely monitor your campaign metrics and take action on your contact lists.
List Cleaning
Although Esendex automatically handles the unsubscribes, it is a good idea to regularly clean your contact lists so you can focus on the people who are most interested in your mailings.
Remove the bounced or blocked email addresses from a contact list
From the results page for your campaign, go to the ‘Non-delivery‘ tab and click the ‘Manage contacts’ button.
Select the types of messages you want to remove, followed by the action ‘Remove from a list’. Select the contact list used for the campaign and then click the ‘Remove Contacts’ button.
Remove the contacts who unsubscribed or marked your email as spam
From the campaign results page, go to the ‘Activity‘ tab and click the ‘Manage contacts’ button.
Select ‘Unsubscribed from the campaign‘ or ‘Marked as Spam‘ from the dropdown menu ‘Export contacts who‘. Then choose ‘Remove from a list‘ and select the list from which to remove the contacts (the list to which the campaign was sent).
